Luca Toni joins Juventus after injury sidelines Iaquinta and Quagliarella

Genoa striker and former Italian international Luca Toni has joined Juventus on a free transfer deal. the deal comes in the wake of the recent injuries to Fabio Quagliarella and Vincenzo Iaquinta

Toni has scored three goals thus far in the Serie A with Genoa. The former Bayern Munich man hasn't experienced the same form that made him one of the most feared target men in Europe.

The deal will see Toni stay at the club until the end of next season. Juventus will be hoping that Toni can revitalise a out of form Bianconeri squad, who have only managed a point out of their last two home matches, drawing with Chievo and losing to Parma
