Goal of the Year Contender - Eric Hassli wonder strike!

Recently the MLS has been delivering some brilliant goals, and Eric Hassli of the Vancouver Whitecaps has continued the trend scoring a sublime volley to tie things up against the Seattle Sounders. Hassli's strike came in the 85th minute and completely took the keeper by storm. People are calling it the goal of the MLS season!

Is this the most blatent handball ever? - Video

In their group clash the Matildas were not awarded a penalty after this blatent handball. Draw your own conclusions about the incident but Equatorial Guinea were lucky to get away with it. The Matildas went onto to win 3-2 in a very physical affair.

Under 17's World Cup - Spectacular Goal!

At any level the goal you are about to see would make the headlines. But what makes this goal even more spectacular is the fact that it was scored by a 16 year old at the Under 17's World Cup. Goalkeeper..... yes goalkeeper Quillan Roberts scored a spectacular goal from beyond the halfway line to secure a draw with England.

Canada as a result registered their first ever point at an Under 17 World Cup. Believe it or not, but Quillan isn't even their first choice keeper.

Goalkeeper gone crazy!

For those of you who support teams who are not in the top flight of their respective leagues, promotion is a big thing. You would just have to look at the celebrations in the Premeir League following QPR's promotion. In Italy the promotion to Serie A has been decided, and this keeper Alberto Fontana from Italian side Novara is a good indicator of the elation involved with getting promoted, CHECK IT OUT!

This video shows that a keeper should remain focuses for the entirety of the shootout. Because if not..... this could happen. Keepers such as Buffon, Casillas and Van der Sar did not make their careers on such errors.

Most of us are used to seeing Wayne Rooney or Lionel Messi step up to the spot to quickly slot away a penalty. Often these penaties may be retaken without any complaints.

But what if you were put in the situation where you were forced to take a penalty so many times that perhaps you could not keep count? Could you keep your nerve?
