Win your own column on Play the Advantage!

To celebrate the launch of our new website Play the Advantage is offering one football writer the chance to have their very own column of the front page. As well as this we will be giving the same reader the ability to post as PTA to the Facebook page, allowing you to create your own questions and stimulate your own discussion. To win this opportunity we will conduct a writing competition between now and the UEFA Champions League Final on May 28th 2011.

To be eligable to enter you must submit three (3) articles on football to our email at ptafootball@hotmail.com between now and the final. We will subsequently post your articles throughout the month and gather feedback from our readers around the world. In the days following the UEFA Champions League Final we would ask that you submit a review of the match. This will be the article which we compare between all our writers.

The winner will be announced via the publication of their review of the final on our website.

- Favourite Team
- Players
- Officials
- Stadia

The initial three (3) articles can be on any of these but the final article will be a review of the Champions League Final 2011.

What we will look for in the articles?

- Originality in writing style
- Excellent use of grammar and punctuation
- Little to no spelling errors
- Well researched

How our audience will affect the result?
In the end PTA will decide who gets the opportunity to write their very own column for us. However we will most definitely factor in views of articles and user feedback. LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW TO LOOK AT YOUR ARTICLES SINCE VIEWS WILL COUNT TOWARDS THE FINAL VERDICT!

Play the Advantage? ...... Spread the Word

Since our inception in early December, Play the Advantage has had some 18 people contribute casual articles and 4 people contributing with regular posts about football all around the globe.

Marcel - "I am a 23 year old teacher/massive football fan with an encyclopaedic knowledge of world football. Give me a league and/or a team and I’ll bound to give you some information on them. I have a Bachelor of Communication Studies and a Masters of Teaching and a collection of over 28 football jerseys from around the world (including a rare second division Lebanese Premier League team called Salam Zgharta).

My favourite teams are Chelsea FC, SV Werder Bremen, Valencia CF, Inter Milan and I support the A-League as a whole (previously a Sydney FC fan but that’s a whole other story).
